Beyond The Hurt offers household items to single mothers.

(Some items may not be available upon request)


You must meet the following requirements:

  • Attend an educational workshop
  • Complete and return Resource Application
If you or you know someone that needs household items please complete the Resource Application then complete the contact information on our Contact page so a representative can contact you. As a reminder, you will need to have completed an Educational workshop before items will be distributed.
Pampers


We know the cost of pampers can be extremely high. Beyond The Hurt would like to assist single mothers with pampers. You must meet the following qualifications:

  • Attend an educational workshop
  • Meet the 2022 FPL (proof of income required)$13,590 for individuals
    $18,310 for a family of 2
    $23,030 for a family of 3
    $27,750 for a family of 4
    $32,470 for a family of 5
    $37,190 for a family of 6
    $41,910 for a family of 7
    $46,630 for a family of 8

Diva's Transitional Home


Diva's Safe House is for women (only) that are serious about leaving an abusive relationship. We spend one on one time with the women to assist them with tools in becoming independent away from their abuser. We offer the following services: Services has been suspended until further notice


  • A safe place to live
  • All the enmities of the house (washer and dryer) 
  • Toiletries
  • Hygiene products
  •  Life Coach
  • Food box
  • Case Manager (assist with long and short term goals)
  • Referred Counseling
  • Training in Resume' Building and Mock Interviews
  • Workshops in Credit Repair and Financial Budgeting
  • Employment (entry level positions

Adopt a Family for Christmans

BTH knows the struggles of single parent homes that can not afford to purchase gifts for their children for Christmas. We started our annual Adopt a Family in 2017 for single parent homes.


If you are a single parent and wish to be considered for the Adopt a Family for Christmans program, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Single parent
  • Complete the Adopt a Family form ___________
  • Provide proof of income or no income
  • Meet the 2018 FPL 
    $12,140 for individuals
    $16,460 for a family of 2
    $20,780 for a family of 3
    $25,100 for a family of 4
    $29,420 for a family of 5
    $33,740 for a family of 6
    $38,060 for a family of 7
    $42,380 for a family of 8


We hope to adopt more families for 2018. If you are interested in donating toys, clothing (all sizes), sports equipment, and hygiene products, contact BTH at (602) 882-5701 to schedule a drop-off. We accept items through out the year.

We are faced with many challenges. We get so busy that we forget to take time for ourselves.

Youth Program

Beyond the.Hurt is interested in the growth of our youth. Our program focuses on low-income, at risk, and youth in Foster Care. We will give them the the following skills:


  • How to open a bank account
  • How to apply for a job
  • Resume' Building
  • Vote
  • Credit
  • Financial Budgeting
  • Cooking
  • Possible Employment
  • And so much more.....
